Job summary

Citi seeks an exceptional software engineering leader to head the Custody Asset Servicing platform in Investor Services. You will drive strategic initiatives, retire legacy systems, onboard marquee clients, and accelerate platform migration.

This role champions GenAI adoption, mentors engineers, and defines a cloud-native tech vision with strong governance in a global, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience, with significant time in Financial Services.
• Proven leadership of multiple teams and large-scale programs.
• Experience with GenAI concepts and coding agents in the SDLC.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React, and cloud-native stacks.
• Ability to define vision, strategy, and governance for a global platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow multiple multidisciplinary teams across backend, frontend, DevOps, and databases.
• Set technical direction and strategic roadmap for cloud-native, AI-enabled platforms.
• Drive adoption of GenAI tooling across development lifecycle and establish best practices.
• Own delivery of high-stakes initiatives with regulatory compliance in a global context.
• Present progress and risk mitigation plans to senior management and stakeholders.
