Qualifications

• Cello degree in music education or performance required.
• Suzuki training through cello book #2 preferred.
• Willingness to learn basic violin/viola if not already proficient.

Responsibilities

• Teach private and group Suzuki cello lessons before and after school for grades 1–4.
• Lead before-school strings classes for grades 3–4.
• Work with cellists in grades 5–12 during the day; lead sectionals and provide individual/small group instruction; support other string teachers.
