Job summary

Sealed Air in Duncan, SC is seeking a Sustaining Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team for CRYOVAC packaging equipment across the Americas. You will own lifecycle support, reliability improvements, and technical enablement, partnering with Field Service, QA, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Product Management.

Location is Duncan Automation Center; travel up to 10% and on-site work are expected to drive root cause analysis, engineering changes, and training to sustain

Qualifications

• Experience with CRYOVAC equipment or similar packaging systems.
• Experience with food packaging equipment.
• Experience managing mechanical and electrical resources.
• Experience in centralized technical support or sustaining engineering.
• Experience with spare parts programs or service kits.
• Experience with SAP, ServiceMax, PLM, ERP, CRM.
• Lean Six Sigma; Black Belt preferred.
• Master's degree in Engineering or Business.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustaining engineering for CRYOVAC equipment across full lifecycle.
• Establish ownership across mechanical, electrical, controls, and engineering disciplines.
• Prioritize sustaining engineering work by customer impact, reliability, and value.
• Standardize RCA, corrective action, validation, and change processes.
• Maintain escalation paths between Solutions Center and stakeholders.
• Travel approximately 10% and support site/field activities.
