Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking a Sustaining Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary Solutions Center team responsible for CRYOVAC® commercial food packaging equipment across the Americas. You will own the operating model, prioritize work, and drive reliability, lifecycle management, and technical documentation.

Based at the Duncan Automation Center in South Carolina, this on-site role partners with Field Service, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and R&D to deliver durable engineering

Qualifications

• Experience with food packaging equipment or industrial packaging machinery.
• Experience with CRYOVAC equipment or comparable systems.
• Experience managing mechanical and electrical/controls resources.
• Experience in a centralized technical support or sustaining engineering organization.
• Lean Six Sigma experience; Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustaining engineering for the CRYOVAC equipment portfolio across the full lifecycle.
• Establish clear ownership across mechanical, electrical, controls, and equipment engineering.
• Prioritize sustaining work by customer impact, field performance, reliability and cost.
• Standardize RCA, corrective/preventive actions, engineering changes, validation and closure.
• Maintain escalation paths and handoffs between Solutions Center and other funcs.
• Lead cross-functional execution to improve speed, quality, and scalability of support.
