Job summary

Rothy’s is seeking a Retail Ambassador for our Boston store (Newbury). In this part-time role, you will be the brand on the sales floor, delivering memorable customer experiences and living our values in every interaction.

You’ll focus on service and sales while supporting light store operations, inventory, and merchandising. If you have retail or customer service experience and enjoy building genuine connections, you’ll thrive in our welcoming, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build genuine customer connections.
• A passion for service and the drive to achieve personal and team sales goals.
• Willingness to support operational tasks as part of the team.
• Availability to work at least 16 hours/week, either 3 Peak Days (Fri, Sat, Sun + Holidays) OR 2 Peak Days (Fri, Sat, Sun + Holidays) + 2 Non-Peak Days (Mon–Thu).
• Ability to stand/walk an entire shift.
• Ability to lift, push or carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, stretch, and safely use ladders and step stools.
• Uphold Rothy’s Experience by following our dress code, including wearing Rothy’s shoes during every shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Rothy’s Experience to every customer—service rooted in our values and knowledge of products.
• Drive personal sales and contribute to team goals.
• Create lasting relationships with customers through clienteling and genuine connections.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive store culture by collaborating with the team.
• Execute stock replenishment, visual merchandising, and store organization and cleanliness.
