Job summary

Sustainable Comfort, Inc. (SCI) in Worcester, MA, seeks an organized Property Manager to oversee field maintenance for a developing and operating portfolio of multifamily buildings focused on LEED, ENERGY STAR and Passive House standards.

You will coordinate planned improvements, supervise trades, implement move-in/out inspections, and develop asset plans to ensure tenant satisfaction and owner goals are met with proactive, cost-conscious management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, real estate, business, or related field.
• Field experience in building trades (labor, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
• Passion for real estate development, building operations, construction, or urban planning.
• Proficiency with technology (mobile devices, computers, apps, and software).
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification within 90 days of employment.
• Valid driver’s license in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Manage field maintenance for properties in various development phases.
• Coordinate planned improvements for property owners.
• Oversee maintenance for stabilized properties and crises.
• Supervise trades and subcontractors under the Property Manager.
• Develop move-in/move-out inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
• Monitor performance and budget to align with owner goals.
• Communicate with owners, tenants, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
