The internship provides hands-on experience in sustainable engineering design, spanning plumbing, energy modeling, CAD and Revit, with a 10–12 week paid program and opportunities to engage with building design teams. Qualifications

• 3rd year undergraduate student preferred.
• Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering major.
• Desire to work in the Building Design industry.

Responsibilities

• Design layout of plumbing systems.
• Onsite non-potable reuse and nutrient recovery systems.
• Water data (WUI) analysis.
• Electrification of domestic hot water systems.
• CAD and Revit.
• Energy modeling.
• Design calculations.
• Construction administration and site visits.
• General project timeline/overview.
• Specifications.
• Site Visits/Site Observation Reports.
• Cost estimate review/preparation.
• M/E coordination schedule.
