Job summary

HOK is seeking a junior interior designer to assist with production drawings and design development under supervision in our Los Angeles office. You will support the project team, prepare 2D/3D presentation drawings, and help incorporate sustainable design solutions.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design, 0–3 years of experience, LEED credential within 12 months, and willingness to travel. This role offers a hybrid work environment and a pathway to licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design.
• 0–3 years’ experience or equivalent in education/experience.
• LEED credential within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Modify and prepare production drawings during design development.
• Corrects and updates design documents.
• Develops solutions to design problems following standards.
• Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design into projects.
• May mentor and direct the work of less experienced staff.
• Prepares 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.
• Builds models for client/project team review.
• Compiles data and performs elementary design computations.
• Takes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable practices.
• Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service.
