HOK is seeking an experienced interior designer to contribute to complex interior design assignments and support the project team across multiple phases. You will develop design concepts, render 2D/3D drawings, coordinate materials, and present to clients while ensuring scheduling and budget adherence.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in interior design, 6+ years of experience, and LEED credential within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or foreign equivalent.
• 6+ years of interior design experience.
• LEED credential required within 12 months of employment.

Responsabilités

• Keep the project, or a phase of a project, on schedule.
• Select and specify interior architectural materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and artwork.
• Develop innovative design concepts which are practical, aesthetic, safe and client-focused.
• Conduct space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and equipment.
• Coordinate color and material palettes.
• Incorporate Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
• Render conceptual design ideas and prepare 2D and 3D drawings.
• Prepare and conduct client presentations.
• Solicit bids and assist PM and client with subcontracting fabrication, installation, and arrangement of materials.
• Communicate with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure information is incorporated.
• Foster green workplace practices and client service.
