Babilou Family US is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support a Certified Teacher and help create a safe, nurturing learning environment focused on sustainability.

Based in Lawrence, MA, this year‑round, full‑time role offers hands‑on early childhood experience, teamwork, and opportunities to grow through Babilou Family Academy.

The position requires dedication to child development, classroom safety, and partnering with families to reinforce sustainable practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
• Knowledge of child development and classroom safety.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and assist the Certified Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Certified Teacher with daily lesson plans and experiences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and eco‑minded classroom.
• Supervise children during activities and meals and report concerns as required.
• Engage families with sustainable communication and updates.
• Participate in required training and collaborate on curriculum and sustainability initiatives.
