Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with young children in childcare or educational settings.
• Knowledge of child development and classroom safety standards.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and support the Certified Teacher effectively.
• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred; sustainability interest encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Certified Teacher with daily lesson plans and learning experiences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, eco-minded classroom environment.
• Supervise children and uphold safety protocols during activities and transitions.
• Engage families with sustainable communication and updates.
• Pursue required trainings and certifications and collaborate with the teaching team.
