This role emphasizes sustainability through proper waste handling and bio-digester operation, helping our teams deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous stewarding/kitchen/dishwashing experience preferred but not required.
• Strong cleanliness and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with pride in a clean workspace.
• Able to operate commercial dishwashing and kitchen equipment.
• Willingness to learn and operate the hotel's bio-digester.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and established procedures.
• Commitment to safe handling of chemicals and waste.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized stewarding area and work surfaces.
• Operate dishwashing and sanitation equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support culinary and hotel outlets with clean equipment and supplies.
• Assist with movement and availability of dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Sort food waste and operate the bio-digester per procedures.
• Monitor bio-digester and report issues to leadership.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety standards.
