Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, current Food Handler Certification, and fluent English. The role requires reliability, attention to safety, and a professional appearance in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Upscale hotel experience preferred.
• High school diploma required.
• Current Food Handler Certification required.
• Fluency in English (verbal and non-verbal).

Responsibilities

• Ensures dishes are sanitized and available as needed.
• Keeps sanitation solutions up to code.
• Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans.
• Stores clean dishes and utensils properly.
• Polishes silver and copper.
• Assists in inventory of china, glassware, and silver.
• Maintains organization of pots, pans, and utensils.
• Maintains proper storage of dish dollies, glass racks, and flatware.
• Maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils clean.
• Stocks supplies in serving stations and refrigerators.
• Sorts and removes trash to designated areas.
• Reports safety incidents to supervisor.
