Job summary

CLMI Group is hiring a Project Coordinator IV (Sustainability) for the Los Angeles area to support BuildLACCD sustainability and energy-related capital projects. You will work with the PMO and Strike Team to manage budgets, funding, and financial reporting across planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.

The role emphasizes coordination with District personnel, CPTs, PMO, and other stakeholders, handling cost forecasting, ETCs, and risk reviews to ensure

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in engineering, project management, sustainability, or related field.
• BS/BA in Engineering, Construction Management, Sustainability, or related field; 4 extra years may substitute for education
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis for budgeting and reporting
• Proficiency in Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Experience with enterprise PMIS systems such as Proliance or Trimble Unity
• Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day project coordination and cost management support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and maintain project management documents and communications.
• Support budget establishment, funding verification, and cost forecasting.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to verify budgets, funding and financial requirements.
• Develop and maintain cost forecasts and ETCs; track CORs and funding availability.
• Monitor budgets, encumbrances, and financial risks to preempt issues.
• Participate in risk assessment to identify cost-related risks and mitigations.
