Job summary

Deltek is seeking a Sustainability Lead to maintain and enhance sustainability information in the MasterSpec and Deltek SpecText libraries and to guide strategic initiatives in the AECO industry. You will ensure content quality, liaise with partners, and write master guide specifications focused on sustainability and building envelope topics.

You will translate requirements into reusable data structures and work with product teams to automate rating-system compliance and reporting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect or Engineer with 8+ years in commercial/institutional building projects.
• LEED AP BD+C certification required; WELL/Green Globes certifications are a plus.
• Experience writing construction specifications and working with MasterSpec/SpecText.
• Experience preparing specs for large complex buildings.
• Experience with LEED or other rating system certifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; public speaking a plus.
• Time management, attention to detail, ability to work on multiple projects independently.
• Experience with BIM/Revit; turning specifications into machine-readable data is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with MasterSpec and Specpoint.
• Comfort working with structured content and data models for product teams.

Responsibilities

• Advise on sustainability topics and their impact on product decisions for building projects.
• Represent Deltek in sustainability communities and with partners like AIA.
• Update and ensure accuracy of sustainability data across MasterSpec/SpecText and Specpoint.
• Write master guide specs related to sustainability and building envelopes.
• Translate sustainability requirements into reusable data attributes and tags for automation.
• Collaborate with product management to prioritize sustainability roadmap.
