Job summary

Johnsonville, LLC. invites students to join its sustainability team for a summer internship or co-op, offering hands-on experience and real project contributions. You’ll collaborate with diverse business partners in a collaborative environment that values growth and learning.

You’ll participate in activities with interns nationwide and gain broad exposure to ESG initiatives. The program includes mentorship, teamwork, and opportunities to contribute to packaging, compliance and decarbonization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sustainability or environmental-related field (junior or senior preferred).
• 3.5 minimum GPA strongly preferred.
• Some prior work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with strategic target / goal setting.
• Gather responses and report on the ESG metrics defined in the Meat Institute’s Protein Pact.
• Participate in sustainability-related committees / workstreams (sustainable packaging, regulatory / compliance, decarbonization, etc.).
• Ad hoc ESG-related projects as necessary.
• Work closely with your assigned coach, who will mentor you and help further enhance your internship experience.
