Job summary

Johnsonville Sausage, LLC is seeking a Summer Sustainability Intern to join our global headquarters team in a hands-on role focused on ESG metrics, reporting and cross-functional collaboration. You will work with partners across the organization to understand sustainability impacts and contribute to real projects in a supportive, mentoring environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in sustainability or environmental field (junior or senior preferred).
• GPA 3.5 minimum strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sustainability target setting and reporting.
• Collaborate on ESG metrics defined for Meat Institute's Protein Pact.
• Participate in ESG-related committees/workstreams (packaging, compliance, decarbonization).
• Contribute to ad hoc ESG projects as needed.
• Work closely with a mentor to enhance the internship experience.
