Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Energy Analyst to support our client’s sustainability programs across a real estate portfolio. You will work with senior energy and sustainability professionals to perform building energy consumption analysis, benchmarking, and reporting, and to develop tools that streamline ESG data collection and disclosure.

You will track, analyze, and report ESG metrics, prepare utility consumption data for disclosures and green building certifications, and deliver insights

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, energy management, sustainability, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of analytical experience in commercial real estate, ESG, corporate sustainability, or related.
• Experience administering sustainability data management and reporting systems.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI for analyzing, reviewing, and reporting sustainability data.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple projects with timelines and budgets.
• Establish data reporting governance across the portfolio to ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Administer sustainability data collection and reporting systems across the client portfolio.
• Synthesize research into key themes and drafting recommendations for client deliverables.
• Evaluate sustainability data and trends to inform the account team and strategy.
• Provide benchmarking and market intelligence, including Energy Star benchmarking via Portfolio Manager.
• Coordinate ESG compliance reporting support across local, regional, and national regulations, including audits.
• Support utility data management, validation, and quality assurance processes.
• Continually improve reporting systems, processes, and training.
• Develop and enhance analytical tools to improve decision-making for business teams.
• Prepare and deliver monthly utility reporting packages with trends and benchmarking.
