Fjällräven is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Palo Alto to lead a values-driven team and deliver exceptional guest service. You will partner with the Store Manager to manage operations, coach staff, and uphold sustainability commitments on the floor and in the community.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, aligning with KPIs, and driving store performance while promoting Fjällräven’s mission and outdoor lifestyle.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail leadership experience.
• Strong track record of delivering thoughtful, people-centered guest experiences.
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Adaptable, solution-oriented mindset.
• Comfort working with KPIs, sales performance tools, and store financials.
• Genuine passion for sustainability and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Lead & develop the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Model GUIDE service standards and support premium, personalized service.
• Support daily store operations including opening/closing, payroll support, loss prevention, and inventory.
• Review KPIs with store manager and drive sales, efficiency, and profitability.
• Build community and brand presence through local events and partnerships.
• Champion sustainability and responsible product stewardship.
