Job summary

Entegris in Billerica, MA is seeking a Sustainability Co-Op for Spring 2027, a 6-month assignment designed for students enrolled in environmental science or related fields.

You'll work with the Sustainability team across Entegris sites to identify and implement projects that advance our environmental goals, including carbon footprint analysis, energy data review, and customer surveys. Based in Billerica, you will learn manufacturing processes and contribute to real-world improvements.

The Role:

Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking a Sustainability Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking a Sustainability Co-op to join our Sustainability team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

In this role, you will research, identify, and implement key sustainable projects that help Entegris move towards our sustainability goals. Based in Billerica, MA, this position will work closely with all Entegris sites to learn and develop projects.

What You'll Do:

• Learn about Entegris and manufacturing processes at sites.


• Connect with teammates to understand problem statements and implement successful solutions.


• Key project 1: Help with carbon footprint analysis of our products.


• Key project 2: Assist with customer surveys on sustainability.


• Key project 3: In partnership with sites, review the energy and sustainability data for data accuracy and reliability.


• Assist on other sustainability projects.

What We Seek:

• At least one year of undergraduate experience

• Proactive and able to push out of comfort zone to develop new skills.


• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.


• Good computer skills and ability to learn new software systems.


• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks.

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

At least one year of undergraduate college experience in: Environmental science or engineering, Chemistry or chemical/mechanical engineering, Materials science, Related science or engineering field

Eligibility:

• Must be a currently enrolled student


• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June


• Must be familiar with the university's requirements to participate in a co-op program
