Entegris, Inc. in Billerica, MA seeks a Continuous Improvement Co-Op for the Spring 2027 season. The 6‑month assignment focuses on improving assembly, flush room, and warehouse processes, with Kaizen events, 5S, Gemba walks, and productivity projects.

You will assist in documentation, 5S, and root cause analysis while supporting cost-reduction efforts and data-driven improvements. On-site, 8am-5pm, January to June 2027, student status required.

Job Title:

Continuous Improvement Co-Op

The Role:

Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking a Continuous Improvement Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. The Co‑op will work on improving the process and reducing manufacturing costs in the areas of Assembly, Flush Room and the Warehouse. Will assist in Kaizen events, 5S activities, Gemba walks and documentation, productivity savings projects, root cause analysis, maintaining TDM boards.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in Kaizen Workshop documentation
• Implement 5S activities
• Assist in Gemba walks
• Assist in Productivity Savings calculations
• Assist in using different root cause analysis tools

What We Seek:

Bachelors in Industrial engineering or Mechanical Engineering Junior in the above program 1 year experience in Continuous Improvement

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

Bachelors in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering Graduation Year 2028 or 2029

Eligibility:

• Must be a currently enrolled student
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
• Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co‑op program
