Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op

The Role:

Our site in Bedford, MA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. The manufacturing engineer Co-Op will perform projects to improve manufacturing efficiency. They will work with the manufacturing engineering team to qualify improved processes for production. When there are manufacturing problems, they will help troubleshoot processes, identify root causes, and implement solutions.

What You’ll Do:

• Support manufacturing continuous improvement projects.


• Qualify improved processes using statistical methods.


• Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and implement solutions.

What We Seek:

• Familiarity with or willingness to learn continuous improvement concepts (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)


• Data analysis skills

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

Bachelor or Master student graduating 2028 or 2029 Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.

Eligibility:

• Must be a currently enrolled student


• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June


• Must be familiar with the university's requirements to participate in a co-op program

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to work on plant floor with manufacturing equipment.
