Job summary

Entegris in Billerica, MA is seeking a Capital Equipment Engineering Co-Op for the Spring 2027 season. This 6‑month assignment provides hands‑on engineering and commissioning support for capital equipment projects.

Job Title: Capital Equipment Engineering Co-Op

The Role:

Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking a Capital Equipment Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

The candidate will provide engineering and commissioning support for the BIL equipment engineering projects.

Equipment Engineering department is responsible for engineering, delivery, and start-up of capital equipment across the organization globally.

The team consists of project management and engineering support to our global manufacturing and development teams.

Technical assessment and review of new technologies. Assist with the global multi-site equipment delivery planning.

What You’ll Do:

Serve as a core team member for assigned equipment design and delivery projects.

Work closely with Equipment Engineering to ensure timely delivery of new equipment and technologies to support product development and manufacturing.

Prepare process documentation to support new equipment launch, Validation and qualification of new technologies.

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

Student studying Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Graduation in 2028 or sooner.

Eligibility:

Must be a currently enrolled student.

Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June.

Must be familiar with the university's requirements to participate in a co-op program.
