Hotel Nikko Of San Francisco 150 Powell St is seeking a skilled Sushi Cook for Kanpai Bar and Lounge. You will prepare and present sushi and sashimi, manage mise-en-place, and uphold rigorous sanitation in a luxury hotel dining setting.

Two years of sushi cooking experience, strong knife skills, and English communication are required. You will work with the Restaurant Chef to develop offerings and ensure a high standard of guest service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize mise-en-place, and execute sushi and sashimi dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Develop sushi offerings in collaboration with the Restaurant Chef.
• Ensure safe storage, rotation of stock, and proper chilling of items.
• Interact with guests and hotel staff in a courteous, professional manner.
• Report any deficiencies in stock or product quality to the Restaurant Chef.
