Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a sushi prep team member to join our store. Bring your love for sushi and we'll teach you the rest. You will help prepare fresh, high-quality sushi rolls to be sold in our store, and assist customers with made-to-order or special requests.

Work alongside experienced sushi chefs in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, learning traditional techniques and perfecting your craft to deliver excellent presentation and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, including slicing fish, cutting vegetables, and making sushi rice
• Assist in making sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, following food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely preparation
• Uphold excellent food presentation and customer satisfaction
