Job Title: Sushi Cook at Kaskaid Hospitality

Join us to apply for the Sushi Cook role at Kaskaid Hospitality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all food items following standard recipes and procedures within specified time limits.
  • Preps assigned items according to the Prep Lists and par levels set by the Head Sushi Chef.
  • Measure and assemble ingredients required for preparing standard recipes. Cut and portion meats and fish properly and consistently.
  • Store and handle raw or prepared foods and non-food supplies properly.
  • Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and the kitchen according to schedules and procedures.
  • Maintain assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition.
  • Handle food in accordance with local health department guidelines.
  • Follow proper food handling techniques, managing time, materials, and equipment to minimize waste and expense.
  • Maintain personal hygiene standards.
  • Follow safety regulations, reporting injuries or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
  • Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
  • Adhere to all uniform, grooming, safety, and sanitation rules and regulations.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume sushi restaurant.
  • Ability to read and understand English.
