Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• 2+ years professional kitchen experience preferred, sushi experience a plus.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Flexible schedule including on-call, days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with management and team.
• Ensure proper preparation, promptness, freshness, and quality of food.
• Follow recipes with correct measuring, weighing, and mixing of ingredients.
• Prepare raw fish in an appropriate manner.
• Make sushi rice with proper form and consistency.
• Monitor inventory and assist with restocking or prep.
• Maintain hygiene and safe food handling practices.
• Keep kitchen clean and organized.
• Plate, garnish, and present dishes.
• Assist with catering and offsite events.
