Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG) seeks a talented Sushi Chef to craft nigiri and sushi creations with care and precision, sustaining consistent quality for guests. You will contribute to a fast-paced kitchen and uphold our high standards across dishes.

You will train teammates on sushi procedures, plating, and sanitation while following safety policies; flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required to support our guests and team.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in kitchen preparation and line cook roles.
• Able to follow recipes, portion sizes and kitchen policies.
• Strong communication with team and managers.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare high-quality sushi per standards.
• Provide training and guidance on sushi procedures and plating.
• Prepare hot and cold items per outlet standards.
• Maintain clean, sanitary workstation and equipment.
• Close kitchen according to checklist and procedures.
• Report shortages or equipment issues to Chef.
