Qualifications

• A minimum two years’ experience in kitchen preparation and line cook experience.
• Ability to speak, read and understand basic cooking directions.
• Effective communication with managers, staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare the highest quality sushi, following standard portions and procedures.
• Provide training and guidance to other team members on sushi procedures and plating.
• Prepare and present hot and cold items per sushi outlet standards and norms.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and adhere to health regulations.
• Close the kitchen properly and follow closing checklists.
• Report shortages, equipment issues or quality problems promptly.
