Qualifications

• Two years’ kitchen prep and line cook experience.
• Able to read and follow basic cooking directions.
• Strong communication with managers, staff and guests.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Stands/walks constantly with occasional stooping, kneeling, lifting, pushing or pulling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality sushi for guests, following portion sizes, methods and standards and take responsibility for product quality.
• Train and guide other staff on sushi cooking procedures and plating.
• Prepare and present hot and cold items per outlet standards.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and comply with all regulations.
• Close the kitchen properly and follow closing checklists.
• Report shortages or equipment or quality issues to the Chef.
