Job summary

The Domestic Violence Crisis Center, Inc. is looking for a full-time Housing Advocate to provide essential services to survivors of domestic violence. This role includes advocacy, case management, and support in achieving stable housing and financial independence. Candidates should have strong communication skills and experience in survivor-centered advocacy.

Compensation includes a salary range of $50,000-$55,000 annually, health benefits, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities. This position requires in-person work and effective collaboration with community resources.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others within the DV system.
• Willingness to learn how to navigate multiple systems including housing, health, and employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing advocacy and case management services to survivors.
• Complete coordinated intakes and assessments for housing options.
• Maintain up-to-date files and records of case management notes.

Skills

Effective oral and written communication skills

Comprehensive knowledge of safety planning and survivor-centered advocacy

Fluency in Spanish
