Job summary

Pickering, Corts & Summerson, Inc. is seeking a Surveyor in Newtown, PA to lead field and office survey tasks and coordinate projects with clients and team members.

You will conduct boundary, topographic, and construction surveys, prepare legal descriptions, and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets while delivering clear written and oral communication.

Qualifications

• Must be a Professional Land Surveyor in PA.
• Capable of performing, reviewing and certifying Boundary, Topographic, Construction and As-Built surveys.
• Familiarity with conducting surveys using PennDOT standards is highly desirable
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, MicroStation is also desirable
• Proficient using Total Station, Robotics, GPS, RTK, and other survey equipment
• Experience performing hydrographic surveys is desirable

Pickering, Corts & Summerson, Inc., an award winning, multi-disciplinary engineering firm has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our company as a Surveyor.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Planning and coordination of survey projects
• Conducting field surveys (boundary, topographic, and construction surveys)
• Prepare legal descriptions
• Adherence to project schedules and budgets
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
