Job summary

Pickering, Corts & Summerson, Inc. invites a self-motivated Surveyor to join our multi-disciplinary engineering team.

You will plan and coordinate survey projects, conduct boundary, topographic, and construction surveys, and prepare precise legal descriptions. Qualified candidates are PA-licensed Professional Land Surveyors with experience in boundary and hydrographic work; proficiency in Civil 3D, MicroStation, Total Station, GPS, RTK, and robotics is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be a Professional Land Surveyor in PA.
• Familiarity with PennDOT surveying standards desirable.
• Proficient with Civil 3D and MicroStation desirable.
• Proficient using Total Station, Robotics, GPS, RTK and other survey equipment.

Pickering, Corts & Summerson, Inc., an award winning, multi-disciplinary engineering firm has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our company as a Surveyor.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Planning and coordination of survey projects
• Conducting field surveys (boundary, topographic, and construction surveys)
• Prepare legal descriptions
• Adherence to project schedules and budgets
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Key qualifications to this position are:

• Must be a Professional Land Surveyor in PA
• Capable of performing, reviewing and certifying Boundary, Topographic, Construction and As-Built surveys
• Familiarity with conducting surveys using PennDOT standards is highly desirable
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, MicroStation is also desirable
• Proficient using Total Station, Robotics, GPS, RTK, and other survey equipment
• Experience performing hydrographic surveys is desirable
