Job summary

Pickering, Corts & Summerson, Inc. in Camp Hill, PA, is seeking a Surveyor to join our multi-disciplinary engineering firm.

The role focuses on planning and coordinating surveys, performing fieldwork, and preparing legal descriptions while meeting schedules and budgets. The ideal candidate will be a PA-licensed Professional Land Surveyor with experience in boundary, topographic, and construction surveys, plus proficiency with Civil 3D and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Licensed PA Professional Land Surveyor required.
• Experience with boundary, topographic, construction and as-built surveys preferred.
• Familiarity with PennDOT standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate survey projects.
• Conduct field surveys including boundary, topographic, and construction work.
• Prepare legal descriptions and ensure schedules and budgets are met.

Surveyor (Camp Hill, PA)

Pickering, Corts & Summerson, Inc., an award winning, multi-disciplinary engineering firm has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our company as a Surveyor.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Planning and coordination of survey projects
• Conducting field surveys (boundary, topographic, and construction surveys)
• Prepare legal descriptions
• Adherence to project schedules and budgets
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Key Qualifications To This Position Are:

• Must be a Professional Land Surveyor in PA
• Capable of performing, reviewing and certifying Boundary, Topographic, Construction and As-Built surveys
• Familiarity with conducting surveys using PennDOT standards is highly desirable
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, MicroStation is also desirable
• Proficient using Total Station, Robotics, GPS, RTK, and other survey equipment
• Experience performing hydrographic surveys is desirable
