Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Warrenville, IL seeks a Surveyor in Training (SIT) with 3+ years of experience to join our Survey team. You will use AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce subdivision maps, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, and related exhibits, while researching boundary documents and easements.

Applicants should have an Associate degree or 32 survey hours, be SIT-certified with eligibility to obtain RPLS within 2 years, and possess strong communication and team skills.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree and/or 32 hours of survey related courses.
• Certified SIT, with eligibility to obtain RPLS within 2 years.
• Strong communication and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce subdivision maps, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, and related exhibits.
• Research boundary and easement title documents and perform boundary analysis.
• Use field crew data, sketches, photos and reference maps to create surveys.
• Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits for right of way, easements, acquisition parcels.
• Additional duties as assigned.
