Kimley-Horn is seeking a Party Chief in our Orange office to lead field surveys and project delivery. This is a non-remote, on-site role requiring travel to project sites and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities include ALTA, boundary, and topographic surveys; prepare field notes, use Star*Net for processing, and produce AutoCAD Civil 3D exhibits. LSIT/PLS is preferred; Bachelor’s in surveying or engineering is required.

Qualificações

• LSIT/PLS certification is desired.
• Bachelor’s degree in surveying or engineering.
• Experience utilizing GPS RTK and static data collection.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform medium-scale field surveys for ALTA, engineering design, topographic, and boundary purposes while serving as Party Chief.
• Safely operate a motor vehicle and travel to project sites as required to conduct field survey activities and support project delivery.
• Prepare field notes and sketches; perform pre-calculations, download field data, and process conventional and GPS survey data using Star*Net software.
• Research boundary and easement title documents and perform boundary analysis.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D software to prepare subdivision maps, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, and other survey-related exhibits and deliverables.
• Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits for rights-of-way, easements, acquisition parcels, and other land-related documents.
