Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Surveyor in Training to join the Survey team in Naples, FL. The role covers boundary surveying, topographic mapping, and site stake-out surveys, with a focus on accuracy and compliance with standards.

You will work on a range of survey services including ALTA surveys, legal descriptions, and route surveys, supporting project success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed topographic survey, boundary survey, subdivision plats, ALTA surveys, and other maps using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Review drawings and process field survey results, verifying data accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with team members and follow standard procedures to complete tasks.
• Perform duties of a similar nature as assigned.
• Prepare sketches, legal descriptions, easements, right-of-way maps, and route surveys.

Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Surveyor in Training to join our Survey team in Naples or Fort Myers, FL. Our team provides a full range of survey services including boundary surveying, home building and construction stake out surveys, subdivision plat preparation, condominium exhibit preparation, preparation of legal descriptions for easements and parcel boundaries, topographic mapping, construction layout, control surveys, route surveys, as-built surveys, lake cross section as-built surveys, volume calculations and more. Your Key Responsibilities

• Use of AutoCAD Civil 3D software and Standards to produce detailed topographic survey, boundary survey, subdivision plats, ALTA surveys, and other profession related maps and drawings.
• Understanding drawings and the ability to review and process the results of field surveys, and verifying the accuracy of field survey data.
• Communicates effectively with members of the team and follows standard procedures to complete assigned tasks.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
• The ability to prepare sketch and legal descriptions, easements, right-of-way maps, and route surveys.
