Job summary

Topographic OM, Inc. in Oklahoma City is seeking a Survey Technician I to execute technically complex land surveying assignments and review survey maps for accuracy and compliance with property laws and regulations.

The role requires strong math skills, excellent written and verbal communication, proficiency with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD, and the ability to produce detailed survey base drawings and legal descriptions.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of mathematics used in field survey analysis.
• Ability to read maps, title reports, and legal descriptions.
• Proficient in drafting reports and letters using office software.

Responsibilities

• Research county/city/record information to prepare field sketches.
• Process field crew data in Trimble Business Center and import into AutoCAD.
• Create survey base drawings from field data and reference maps.
• Produce subdivision, ALTA, and topographic maps in AutoCAD.
• Prepare legal descriptions for right-of-way and easements.
• Perform QA/QC on work performed by self and others.
• Other duties as assigned.
