Job summary

UNICO Engineering in Folsom, CA is seeking a Land Surveying Technician to support field crews and prepare property exhibits, maps, ALTA surveys, and topographic exhibits using CAD software. You will study property information, interpret maps and deeds, and relay updates to the Survey Manager to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires 2–3 years of surveying experience, working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD, and LSIT progression. A high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2-3 years’ Land Surveying experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.
• LSIT preferred or working towards certification.
• Demonstrated effective written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Use CAD(D) software to prepare property exhibits, maps, ALTA surveys, map checks, and topographic exhibits.
• Complete work tasks with quality on time and within budget as directed by the Survey Manager.
• Provide field crews with necessary information for assignments.
• Research property information, interpret maps and deeds for accurate descriptions.
• Update supervisor on status of assigned work regularly.
