Job summary

UNICO Engineering is seeking a Land Surveying professional at our Folsom, CA location. The candidate will use CAD/D software to prepare exhibits, maps, ALTA surveys, and topographic displays, while supporting field crews with essential information.

Requirements include 2–3 years surveying experience, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD. LSIT certification is preferred or must be pursued; pre-employment drug screening is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, or equivalent (preferred).
• 2-3 years' Land Surveying experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.
• LSIT preferred or working towards certification.
• Demonstrated effective written and verbal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Use CAD(D) software to prepare property exhibits, maps, ALTA surveys, map checks, and topographic exhibits.
• Provide field crews with necessary information for the completion of their assignments.
• Research property information, interpret maps and deeds necessary for accurate property descriptions.
• Update supervisor on the status of assigned work on a regular basis.
• Complete work tasks with quality on time and within budget, as determined by Survey Manager or delegated supervisor.
