Job summary

Bohler’s Tampa, FL office is seeking a Survey Technician to support field and CAD production for projects across. You’ll prepare easements, plats, boundaries, and ALTA surveys while assisting with deed compilation and base mapping.

You’ll work closely with Survey Managers, Crew Chiefs, and Project Managers to ensure surveys are accurate, complete, and ready for the next development phase. A strong mix of field and CAD work awaits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; coursework or degree in surveying, engineering, or related field a plus.
• 1+ years of CAD or field surveying experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey data management tools.
• Strong math, organizational, and communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and follow‑through.
• Self‑starter who can manage priorities and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process easements, plats, boundary, topographic, and ALTA Land Title surveys.
• Convert and compile field data into detailed survey drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Plot deeds, establish base sketches, and conduct basic research with minimal oversight.
• Deliver and share data between field and office teams to maintain accuracy and alignment.
• Identify and communicate technical issues or data discrepancies to project leads.
• Support field crews as needed with calculations, sketches, or field setup coordination.
• Contribute to project quality and efficiency by maintaining organized, precise documentation.
