Percheron LLC in Texas is seeking a Survey Technician I to assist the CAD Manager and Project Managers in processing and QA/QC of field data, supporting project research, setup, and deliverables. You will develop detailed CAD drawings, interpret field notes, and help deliver metes and bounds descriptions, boundary surveys, and topographic surveys.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to project schedules.

Qualifications

• CST I or completion of a two-year vocational-technical program is desirable.
• Skill in drawing diagrams, charts, and maps and the ability to explain them clearly.
• Experience planning land and water surveys and in preparing technical or research reports.
• Ability to survey and measure land accurately.
• Professional communication with coworkers and clients; ability to follow oral and written directions.

Responsabilités

• Develop detailed AutoCAD/Civil drawings with accuracy and speed.
• Interpret field crew notes, analyze and process conventional and GPS data.
• Perform deed analysis and prepare working sketches from deeds and other sources for field and other uses.
• Produce metes and bounds descriptions, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, plats, and other survey-related deliverables.
• Perform other duties from time to time as the supervisor may deem necessary.
• Knowledge of basic survey practices, procedures, and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned
