The role works with research coordinators, project staff, survey participants, and internal reviewers to keep study activities moving. This is a fully remote, work from home position based in Montana, United States. The role requires a 40-hour weekly commitment. Working days and shift times may vary.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up assigned survey activities using a survey tool such as SurveyMonkey, following project instructions and approved question wording.

  • Check survey links, response options, required fields, and participant messages before outreach begins, and report setup concerns to the research coordinator.

  • Send participant invitations and reminders through approved communication channels, using clear and respectful language that matches project guidance.

  • Monitor response activity, identify incomplete entries or duplicate submissions, and note issues for review without changing participant answers.

  • Enter verified response details and project updates into spreadsheets and data entry software such as LibreOffice Calc, using consistent labels and file conventions.

  • Keep complete notes on outreach attempts, participant questions, response status, and actions taken so project staff can understand each assignment.

  • Follow up with participants when an approved reminder is due, and route unclear questions about survey instructions to the research coordinator.

  • Escalate access problems, unusual response patterns, missing project details, or recurring participant concerns to the research team lead or assigned coordinator.

  • Meet quality expectations through accurate entries, timely turnaround, complete notes, and appropriate follow-up on assigned survey activities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • No experience required; related experience preferred.

  • Interest in survey research, participant outreach, questionnaires, and organized research support activities.

  • Ability to follow detailed written instructions and apply consistent steps across multiple survey assignments.

  • Familiarity with a survey tool such as SurveyMonkey or a willingness to learn survey systems during training.

  • Ability to use spreadsheets and data entry software such as LibreOffice Calc to enter, review, and organize response details.

  • Clear written communication for participant messages, internal updates, and concise activity notes.

  • Ability to review survey responses carefully, recognize missing information, and raise questions through the correct channel.

  • Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet private workspace, with availability for the 40-hour weekly commitment and agreed working days and shift times.

  • Authorization to work in the United States.

  • Fully remote work from home in Montana, United States.

  • Structured onboarding and training on SurveyMonkey, LibreOffice Calc, survey workflows, and participant communication steps.

  • Regular check-ins with the research team lead to review assignments, questions, and progress.

  • Skill building in questionnaire support, participant outreach, response review, and research project coordination.
