Job summary

CFB Surveying, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager | PSM for the Clearwater, FL surveying division. You will lead a diverse portfolio of surveying projects from proposal development through final deliverables, managing client relationships, coordinating field and office staff, and ensuring quality and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive land surveying and project management experience.
• Florida PSM license strongly preferred; licensure in progress may be considered.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics or related field required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with Boundary Surveys, ALTA/NSPS, Topographic surveys, and Right-of-Way mapping.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, providing technical guidance and maintaining relationships.
• Prepare scopes of work, fee proposals, project schedules, and resource plans for surveying projects.
• Lead and manage multiple surveying projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and quality.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to field crews, CAD professionals, and technical staff.
• Oversee boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, as-built, and ROW surveys.
• Review and approve survey deliverables, calculations, plats, sketches, and reports.
• Coordinate survey activities with engineering, environmental, and geospatial teams.
• Develop and maintain weekly and long-range scheduling for crews and workloads.
• Monitor project performance, budgets, timelines, and staffing; resolve challenges.
• Support training and professional development of survey personnel.
• Promote teamwork, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
