Atwell, LLC is seeking a Survey Project Manager to lead complex, high-profile surveys across power, energy, and land development. You will guide projects from planning through delivery, coordinating engineers, field crews, and clients to ensure quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

The role emphasizes ownership, mentorship of staff, and a collaborative culture. Applicants should have experience managing multidisciplinary teams and familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble software.

Qualifications

• Experience managing survey projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of surveying principles, project execution, and client management.
• Experience with utility, power & energy, renewable energy, land development, or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple survey projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
• Leading survey efforts for utility, renewable energy, commercial, and land development projects.
• Collaborating with engineers, project managers, field crews, contractors, and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
• Reviewing survey deliverables, project scope, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Managing project financials, including budgets, forecasting, and overall project performance.
• Serving as a key point of contact for clients and helping foster long-term partnerships.
• Providing mentorship and technical guidance to survey staff and emerging professionals.
• Supporting a collaborative, team-first culture where knowledge sharing and professional growth are encouraged.
• Identifying challenges early, developing solutions, and keeping projects moving forward.
