Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a Survey Project Manager for Renewables/Power & Energy to lead survey operations on large-scale energy projects and guide diverse teams across power, energy, and land development. This role emphasizes accuracy, leadership, and collaboration with engineers, contractors, and public agencies.

You will mentor junior staff, manage budgets, and contribute to a quality-driven project delivery culture with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of survey or civil engineering experience with utility/power & energy focus.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to manage teams and budgets.
• Advanced knowledge of construction staking, GPS, traversing, and plan interpretation.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.

Responsibilities

• Lead survey operations on power and energy projects.
• Manage survey crews and office staff while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Oversee data collection, review, and analysis using Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and public agencies.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
