Job summary

Astra Surveying, LLC is seeking a dynamic Project Survey Manager to oversee the survey and CAD department in Jacksonville or Tampa and surrounding areas. You will lead projects, coordinate field crews, review data, and drive growth of the surveying team.

Ideal candidates bring leadership, project-management expertise, and deep experience with boundary, ALTA, and topographic surveys. The role emphasizes client communication and efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading survey teams or departments.
• Experience managing multiple projects and clients.
• Strong knowledge of ALTA/ACSM surveys and boundary work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage survey and CAD staff across projects.
• Schedule crews and coordinate progress with clients and contractors.
• Review drawings and draft survey data for accuracy.
• Oversee ALTA, boundary and topographic surveys and related reports.
• Ensure survey quality and proper methodology across projects.
• Mentor field personnel and promote safety and efficiency.
