Job summary

Astra Surveying is seeking a dynamic Project Survey Manager to lead the survey department and staff across Jacksonville, Tampa and surrounding areas. The role focuses on managing projects from inception to completion, coordinating with clients, and ensuring quality survey data and deliverables.

The candidate will oversee boundary, topographic, ALTA surveys and subdivision work, supervise technicians, and drive business development for the surveying team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading survey projects and managing a survey department.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and crews with clients and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of surveying methods including boundary, topographic, and ALTA surveys.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead survey department staff and CAD team.
• Schedule crews and coordinate project progress.
• Coordinate with clients, reviewing agencies and contractors for multiple projects.
• Draft survey data and review drawings; ensure accuracy of survey data on site.
• Oversee surveys to establish and map boundaries and topographic details.
• Develop criteria for survey methods, equipment and CAD tools.
