Job summary

SAM seeks a Survey Project Manager to lead land surveying projects from initiation to completion in Cincinnati, OH. You will coordinate field and office teams, ensure deliverables meet client expectations, regulatory requirements, and SAM quality standards.

You will drive business development efforts, mentor staff, and represent SAM at meetings and industry events while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring financial performance across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience in project/phase management for large scale projects.
• Professional license preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to oversee, mentor and motivate a project team.

Responsibilities

• Lead land surveying projects from planning through final delivery.
• Manage scopes, budgets, schedules, contracts, billing, and financial performance.
• Supervise field and office teams across multiple concurrent projects.
• Provide technical oversight and sign/seal survey deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety requirements and quality standards.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain strong relationships.
