Job summary

You will assist with proposals, budgets, and schedules, coordinating with clients, engineers, and planners to meet project requirements. The role emphasizes delivering projects on time and within budget, providing field support, and maintaining documentation and communications with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred in Land Surveying or related field.
• 7+ years land surveying experience, including party chief level responsibilities.
• Project management experience preferred; ability to manage budgets and schedules.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, roadway software, MicroStation and Carlson.

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective clients, prepare proposals, and establish budgets and schedules.
• Oversee surveying and mapping activities; review changes affecting staffing or budget.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal departments to meet project requirements.
• Provide day-to-day support to survey crews and CAD technicians in the field or office.
• Manage multiple complex projects, track milestones, and compile status reports.
